Sandalwood Perfume Materials
Please note that while synthetic alternatives can mimic the scent of sandalwood, they may not fully replicate the complexity and depth of genuine sandalwood essential oil. The availability and sustainability of genuine sandalwood oil can also impact its use in perfumery.
When crafting a sandalwood perfume, combining one or many of the sandalwood ingredients in varying proportions can create a scent that resonates with the rich, warm, and woody characteristics of sandalwood. Experimentation and careful blending are key to achieving a well-balanced and evocative sandalwood fragrance.
The aroma materials which we are going to discuss are the most common materials a synthetic sandalwood perfume is made up of.. It is important to note that some or many of these ingredients are used not more than 50 % in a sandalwood blend.
The remaining portion of the materials fill the top, middle and base notes alongside using the sandalwood materials depending on the nuances a perfumer intends to bring out.
